Too often we get wrapped up in wanting specific things for our users. Whether this is thinking we know what features they need, or expecting certain behaviors to come naturally. It's easy to lose sight of the bigger picture, especially in markets that are rapidly changing. This talk will explore some of the lessons learned in platform design as it relates to the burgeoning field of data science, and data.world as a specific use case.
